What if I am between fitness levels?
Look at the sample schedules for both levels in question and see how these first schedules compare with what you are doing currently. It's also important to consider the time per week you can make available to training for your race, and your goals for the event. For example, if the first week of the beginner schedule seems very easy then consider purchasing the next level. However, if the intermediate schedule seems a little too much of a time commitment and your goal is to have fun and finish the event, then perhaps choose the schedule with less time impact.

I want to purchase my schedule now, but my race is 6 weeks away. How will I train with an 8-week schedule?
You will start with the 3rd week of the schedule. Consider this while choosing your fitness level. You will be ramping up more quickly than if you started on the 1st week.

How does the Q&A Group Forum work?
We use Yahoo Groups to answer emails because many athletes ask similar questions and we can learn from each others inquiries. Every member has access to previous questions/answers at any time. The group page will be reviewed by EnduranceOnline Training staff once per week to answer new questions. Once you make your purchase on active.com you will be directed to your Yahoo Group's site and you will receive information about how to set up your profile and access and post messages to the group's site.

What if I purchase a schedule and I feel it is not right for me?
Please take care when purchasing a schedule, as they are non-refundable and non- transferable. View the races, establish your fitness level carefully, check out a sample schedule, consider your time commitment and goals, then purchase the schedule set that is right for you.

What if I have established myself as an intermediate at most of the disciplines in my race but have never done one (i.e. paddling)?
Choose an intermediate schedule. To get you up to speed technically, information on the basics for every discipline within multi-sport events will be available in the Articles and Information section. Your endurance will still be at an "intermediate level" even though you will be working on your skills differently.
